Marc is the chair of KFG’s Tax Department. Throughout his 20+ years of practice, Marc has established himself as a leading authority on a broad range of domestic and international tax planning. Marc is a strategic tax and corporate advisor to a roster of clients from entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals to established companies and their owner-managers and family offices, each of whom rely on his sophisticated counsel to help them reach business objectives. Marc has extensive experience in relation to tax-driven corporate reorganizations, cross-border transactions (with an emphasis on Canada and the U.S.) and tax-planning for multi-national corporations, as well as succession and estate planning for family businesses (including Canadian residents and U.S. citizens), family trusts, offshore planning, estate administration and post-mortem tax planning to avoid multiple levels of tax. Marc also represents clients through all types of tax complexities including Canada Revenue Agency audits, appeals, voluntary disclosures and tax payment plan arrangements.
